In the winter of 2017, I approached Verso with the idea of collaborating on a special podcast series with them, in which I would record and edit longform interviews with their authors and produce episodes out of the material highlighting their work.

Recorded in various studios and out on walks around New York City, each episode was unique to the author and the subject matter of their text. I engaged in a close read of each author’s new book in preparation, and conducted structured yet dynamic conversations about the material. I then edited our discussions into episodes and added original music to taste, incorporating any feedback from the other producers and finally delivering release-ready episodes.
